Ley Lines are alignments on the planet's surface that align significant geological features, architectual wonders, and ancient sites.
Techically in order for an alignment to be considered a Ley Line, it has to align at least 3 ancient sites.
"Ley Line" comes from old world explorers who noticed that mountains were aligned with each other in the distance, and that at the foot of each mountain there were towns with the letter's L E Y in their names, so the explorers started calling the alignments Ley Lines.
